
Dear Students,
The study abroad programme is officially open for the academic year 2022 - 2023. As a conscious effort on the part of RTC to promote global-level learning and to build intercultural capabilities of our students amid the COVID-19 pandemic, RTC will be sending Bhutanese students for long-term academic exchanges to the USA, Japan, and European countries. The International Relations Office would like to encourage eligible students from the 1st and 2nd year to avail this opportunity to further their personal and academic development. Students will earn academic credits at some of the most reputed academic institutions in the world.

Please click here to download the List of Activities Sheet.You will find two tabs in the sheet, please fill the student activity list accordingly with the colour-coded tables in the 2nd sheet named 'Original'. The 1st sheet named 'Sample' is just a sample sheet for your reference. After you have completed it, please recheck it and upload it to the application form in the "Student Activities Section' - Question 1 in excel format.

Please note the following:
1. If you have any disciplinary record, your application will not be considered for evaluation.
2. The minimum academic percentage required is 60% overall average of completed semesters with a minimum attendance of 85% in all completed semesters.
3. Applications that do not meet the specified criteria, incomplete application forms, or applications missing the required documents will not be processed.
4. The shortlisted students will be contacted for further requirements and processes.
5. Last-minute cancellation after the selection and finalization of the slot by the selected student will require reimbursing any expenditure already incurred to RTC via their guarantor. In this regard, students must sign an undertaking, nominating a parent/guardian as their guarantor.
6. Selected students will be placed based on the programmes they qualify for and are interested in.
