Academic Search Complete (Ebscohost) - Multi-disciplinary full-text database with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. Indexes and abstracts more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, and conference proceedings.. NOTE: This database is only accessible from on campus.
Google Scholar – is designed to help you discover scholarly sources for your topic. It provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature and provides links to available online full-text articles. NOTE: if you find an article, but there is no direct link to the full text, bring your citation to the Library; we may be able to help you locate it.
Internet Archive – Perhaps more for fun than research. There is a plethora of materials here that can be overwhelming to search through. The site offers permanent access to historical collections that exist in digital format. Includes ebooks, audiobooks, old movies, software, archived web pages, and more.
Jstor - provides free searching to over 2,300 journals.You will need to register in order to be able to add up to 3articles to your shelf at one time. These articles can be read online.
