
The Study Abroad Programme for the academic year 2025 - 2026 is now officially open. In line with RTC's commitment to fostering global-level learning and enhancing the intercultural capabilities of our students, Bhutanese students are invited to participate in academic exchanges with the USA and European countries.
Please follow the instructions below to apply for the programme:

NOTE: Please make sure to explore the slots and the courses based on your current course of study.
NOTE:You will find two tabs in this sheet, please fill your student activity list accordingly with the color-coded tables in the 2nd sheet named 'Original'. The 1st sheet named 'Sample' is just a sample sheet for your reference. Download and fill in the sheet. After you have completed it, please recheck it and upload it to the Google form under the STUDENT ACTIVITIES section in the google form.
5. For RTC students currently on scholarships, they will be required to provide a "Clearance Letter" from the Scholarship Awarding Agency. Their scholarships will resume upon their return, but they will be accountable for any differences in fees resulting from the annual 3-6% increase or the semester's fees in case of failure to clear the semester.
Please note the following:
1. If you have any disciplinary record, your application will not be considered for evaluation.
2. The minimum academic percentage required is 60% overall average of completed semesters with a minimum attendance of 80% in all completed semesters.
3. Applications that do not meet the specified criteria, incomplete application forms, or applications missing the required documents will not be processed.
4. The shortlisted students will be contacted for further requirements and processes.
5. Last-minute cancellations after the selection and finalization of the slot by the selected student will require reimbursing any expenditure already incurred to RTC via their guarantor. In this regard, students must sign an undertaking, nominating a parent/guardian as their guarantor.
6. Selected students will be placed based on the programmes they qualify for and are interested in.
