For Students Borrowing ·Students can borrow up to 5 books for periods of 14 days. If the due date falls on a holiday, the book will be due on the next day of classes. · A book may be renewed one time, either at the Circulation Desk or by email, as long as the student has a clear record (see below). ·You must present your Student ID when checking out items. · Books in Student Reserve (behind the Circulation Desk) may be checked out for 24 hours. Fines · Fines accrue at 10nu per day, per book. This fine will be waived for books that are only one day late. In other words, the schedule per book is: Lost Books · Students must pay the cost for replacing the book, a 100 Nu processing fee,plus the accumulated overdue fine. Books which are not available in Bhutan will charged a flat postage rate of 380 Nu. · If you know you have lost a book, let us know ASAP. Otherwise, as noted above, the overdue fines will continue to accrue up to 300 Nu. Newspapers · The Library keeps current issues of Bhutan newspapers on display. · Older issues are kept in the basement. Ask Library Staff for assistance. · Current and past issues of the Kuensel may be viewed on the RTC Cloud. After logging in, scroll down to the folder labelled (RTC) Library PUBLIC, and then the Kuensel folder will be the first one you see in that folder.
