Official Document System of the United Nations – full text of the United Nations parliamentary documents (including resolutions and decisions) since 1993. 

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) -economic surveys for countries as well as reports on issues such as corruption, health, corporate governance and trade.  Good for statistics.

South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC)- news and short reports about regional issues including education, energy and tourism.

United Nations (UN)-reports, fact sheets, maps and news about dozens of global issues ranging from climate change to human rights to terrorism. 

The WWW Virtual Library: International Affairs Resources – an excellent directory to over 2,000 annotated links for country information, statistics, international affairs and global studies.

World Bank -statistics, country reports and papers on global issues such as hunger, poverty, health, environment and gender.

World Health Organization (WHO)-hundreds of health topics including food safety, child development, infant nutrition and tobacco.  Good for statistics.
