Objectives of the module
This module will provide the students with basic foundation in sports leadership and strategic management skills. It will also enrich the students’ knowledge in coaching and managing a team.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the module, students are expected to:
- Explain leadership theories applicable to sport environment.
- Differentiate the characteristics of leaders.
- Assess organizational changes through strategic leadership and strategic planning.
- Identify the organizational leadership approaches in sport coaching.
- Identify and measure the trends and challenges in sport coaching leadership.
